My pre-contest diet is very strict and consists of high protein, medium carbohydrates, and low fats. I eat every two hours and rely a lot more on supplements to optimise protein levels and prevent catabolic effects that can occur with a strict diet. Bodybuilding is the best way of letting out stress. It makes me feel great after a hard training session. It also keeps routine in my life, which I need. I would like the sport to become more about the physique than the size of the physique. I prefer small waists to the blocky waists that we often see these days, and I prefer the more aesthetic physiques that were around in the 70s and 80s. My wife KAREN is very supportive and encouraging with my interest and willingness to achieve in bodybuilding. My friends all respect and encourage me for what I have so far achieved.
